I stayed at Ivybank Villa in Rothesay for a few days and had an amazing experience. Sophie, the hotel staff, greeted us warmly and even helped with our luggage. The room was cozy and had a stunning view. The location was perfect, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was glamorous. Tina and Tom, the hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Tom's breakfasts were even better than those at London hotels. The family atmosphere and warm welcome made us feel at home.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome and genuine hospitality of the owners. The room was immaculate, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. The view from our window was absolutely stunning, giving us a jaw-dropping panoramic vista of the bay. The hosts provided us with invaluable tips for exploring the island, including a breathtaking route with cascading waterfalls. We were so impressed that we extended our stay for an extra night. The breakfasts cooked by Tom were a delightful surprise, surpassing even those served in fancy London hotels. Sophie, the staff member, went above and beyond to assist us with our luggage, making our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to store our bags before check-in and offering us a refreshing drink. our experience at this charming villa surpassed all expectations, and we couldn't have asked for more.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice, although there were only limited options. The location was also convenient, being close to shops and attractions. We also enjoyed the glamourous bathroom.
The kitchenette area was poorly equipped, with no wine glasses, only metal-trimmed crockery that was not microwave safe, and no sharp knives or microwave dishes. The steep stairs were challenging to carry our bags up and down.
